EMG's for Strat

Hey, I'm helping my guitarist find the perfect EMG set for his strat. We play thrash metal. What set should he get, and should he consider a set with the EMG 81 pickup? I could make the extra cavity space for him, but I need to know if he should get an SA set, an S set, an SA-SA-81 or an S-S-81. Help me out guys. Thanks.

I am going to go ahead and say that you better have at least one 81 in there if you want thrash.

you should pm Blizzard beast because he has emgs in his strat, i think he's got a 81 in the bridge
