rack effects
ok ive done a search and found shit...so yeah
im looking to get a rack effects unit, which is midi controlable but i dont have too much to spend. ive had a lil look but i havent seen anything yet. basically i just want a rack effects thing to go thru me effects loop so i can still use the amp distortion. i have a noise gate - boss ns 50, £30 ebay, does the job - but i really want something to experiment with, im bored of having clean, distortion and reverb as my only options.
so yeah, what do you guys think?

rocktron units are hard to beat in the bang for buck department. i mean, a used replifex for a around $200. awesome.
well built, lots of features, easy to use and they sound awesome(if the sound standard of awesome is about boss pedal quality).

I'm planning on buying the rocktron rack effect for my rack experiment. I hear everyone saying it is pretty good. Still need to test if for myself though

Well since this forum is about rack shit....
Hey xdx i was checkin out the BBE max's and they seem pretty fucking nice and only $200 it comes with a compressor, noise gate, and BBE sonic maximizer on it. I was wondering if you knew anything about the Gate that comes on it, and how good it is in comparison with the Rocktron Hush C.

havent used that exact model...
but i wouldnt consider the hush super C to be the highest of standards in noise gates. a boss ns-2 at half the price will do just as good if not better imo.
