Our GM told him not to try to check into any of our hotels because he'd already alerted the chain. He was banned.

I had a nail go through my boot on Monday. I was looking for snakes and wasn't watching where I was stepping. About 30 seconds before I stepped on it, I thought to myself, 'if you don't pay attention, you're going to step on a board with a nail sticking up from it'. So, I didn't pay attention and that's exactly what happened. Then I had to hobble for 15 minutes all the way back to the car. It was an overcast, wet, chilly day, so the odds were against me to begin with. Despite those odds, I went out, found a lot of interesting animals (unidentified fox, unidentified raptor, unidentified uncommon duck, huge black racer, spotted salamander) only to have my trip cut short with a rusty nail in my foot. I'm just waiting for my foot to feel better so I can go for a hike and get off my ass, get some excersize. I'll probably be able to go for a hike by the start of next week.

On the plus side, they gave me free antibiotic packets and bandages at the hospital, plus I got a new bottle of Tylenol, which is great, because I was running out.
