i just ordered this amp havent got it yet and was wondering if anyone here has one and if it sounds good. i play mostly death metal ibanez s470, js1000, metal zone pedal. and i needed something loud and this was the best deal i could get this or a rogue 112(65 w) but i went with the behringer blue devil gx112 (60 w) it was this or a 30 or 15 wat amp. i just need something to amplify my pedal. i heard it sounds a little less then 60 watts and it got a 8.4 out of the reviews and i thought it would be better then the rogue cause ive saw this brand in guitar world review before .and i never seen rogue before ok thanks

im guessing its guna be pretty bad - behringer dont have the greatest reputation. i can only go by my v-amp 2, which is pretty shit, but from what ive read / heard its prob guna be pretty crap. but then again thats only what ive heard.

and your really not guna get a good sound with a behringer amp and a metal zone, but if it sounds good to you...its your stuff...

you pretty much fucked yourself... for the money you could have bought a much better amp.

my friend had one.

the distortion on those are pathetic, unusable even. the clean sounds are so so... volumewise, it's 60w s.s. watts and a shitty noname 12" speaker.

if you have a light handed drummer and or a PA handy it might work out for you.

well ive only played it a day so i dont know long it will last and all that stuff but it looks good and its pretty loud. it sounds real good ive been playin for 7-8 years of mostly metal-death metal (deicide six feet under cannible corpse pantera ozzy and my own stuff)and and a little of everything else well i dont know if its the transtube or whatever its called but the clean sounds great and i havent tried the amps own distortion or effects it has only the metal zone throught it but it sounds great with it.ive had a line 112 before and a crate 212 and some other little amps alesis 30 watt etc... well this one has a better sound then the others i dont know if it was louder then the 212? well if this amp lasts a long time it will be a geat amp.

I just picked up a strat knockoff he gave me one day and started fiddling with it...

seriously. i've been playing about that long, maybe a tad more.... and it only took me less than a year to realize good tone isnt going to come from a metalzone and a crate gfx30. none the less a behringer.

in the end it's all up to the user, and it's all gravy baby. but seriously.

yea, im starting to realise that a pod or a roland cube 30 wont get me the tone i want either. thats why im looking at proper tube amps (rather than those shitty valvestate marshall amps). but my only problem is that i cant find a good CHEAP tube amp. i dont currently have a job and the only money i get is the £30 i get given to stay in school by the gov.

so thats why i dont yet have one

shit, i heard you can get quite a bit of money from local councils for being in a band, im seriously guna look into that. i also heard from me mate that he got his guitar for like half price cos he was taking guitar lessons - im guna start taking lessons soon if thats the case. i duno, might be shit, but im still guna look into it.
