Together may we tread a crystal stair.
A glorious trot up, a seemingly never ending stairway to heaven.

Or could this be a stair that reflects our great folly?
Where jagged boards and splinters would pierce our feet.
Till eventually we fall downwards with agonizing pain.
Pain only shrouded in the fear that you’re a mere bludgeon from death.

All castles made of sand, will fade into the sea eventually.
Then May we build our home on a strong foundation.
So that it is indeed a crystal stair by which we travel through life.

A life where all can behold your tremendous beauty.
Till death shall take us.
But why fret?
For if it is truly a crystal stair we travel, then life shall reclaim us.

Where your blush cheeks pulse on a pale peach portrait.
These cannot be the rosebuds of shame upon your face.
Surely these are bouquets of love by which you have greeted me with so blissfully.

This castle we will create will be not of sand. But surely near it.
Beholding the masterpiece of creation.
Forever praising the architect of the universe for his great deeds.

Now we have built a dream together.
Do we have the courage to make all of these dreams into blissful realities?
I shall pray as I always pray.
And ill wait as I always wait.
For this wonderful dreams transformation.
I wait for it to emerge from the cocoon as a reality.




I guess you would call me emo after reading that. But thats false, I hate emo kids. I call this expressionism.

I loved almost all of this. The bludgeon line was a bit awkward to me, but the rest was wonderful.
I tried to post awhile ago here and it kept saying No data entered or something like that. I tried to pm you, Def, and send Def an email of what I'd like posted. I even tried to start a new thread and nothing worked.

I said that if you hadn't been to the Rock Hall of Fame in Cleveland you should hop on route 11 and pick me up and go there. The crystal stairway reminded me of the clear acrylic staircase that went from the first floor up to a circular enclosed room way up in the top. It was a scary climb, but well worth it since the display that was there when I went was John Lennon's handwritten lyrics with his music playing. It was very moving to me to see as a lyricist.

I think this would be a killer melodic piece. Not quiet, but something with a definite edge to it and with very distinct lyrics.

The castles, crystals, romance, sea all really grabbed me. I'm a crystal collector and the visions I had from your imagery were cool as heck.
