For a beginning bass with the potential of hanging onto or a throw away? Worth $125, used?

I own a B-155, and for only $300 its great. ESP makes fairly decent basses...nothing to Modulus or Alembic standards though. But if your dead set on starting with a 5 string then, yeah $125 is a good deal. But I would definatly upgrade later.

personally i think esp sortof does cheap immitations of bc rich's and other companies...like you couldnt tell me the viper isnt trying to be a sg.

but thats just my opinion...

no because esp arent bery expensive mostly and alot of them really look simmilar to a b.c.rich

my bass player owns a b-50 and i love the neck on it but i will upgrade. bought mine form $175 new so you are not to bad with that deal. five string right?
