I have owned a nj series mockingbird for two years or so now. It is a great playing guitar. I bought it used, it seems to be from the late 90's. I know alot of people dislike bc rich. And I totally understand, the asian models suck. And mine is asian, but it isn't all that bad. Just the new ones, ugh, they sound terrible unless you pay around $400.

Bc rich has more aesthetic value than their competitors in my book. However my opinion might kind of suck. ESP and Jackson are more realistic buys, and probably play nicer for the money. In long run, I see alot of flying vs, explorers, les pauls, teles, strats, you name it. As far as hard rock guitars go. I also see lots of bronze warlocks, but those are shit.

Who see's a bright translucent red mockingbird neck-thru with a(soon to be) american floyd rose or kahler and two custom humbuckers? I am thinking of throwing in 81/85 or jb jazz. I have no idea what would sound more deadly, I want the thickest most blood curdling distortion possible.

So to sum this rant bullshit up, I am saying I want to see more of my fellow metalheads playing custom bc richs in my bands and projects. All I see are jacksons and other equally cool guitars. They all look the same though, and I can never tell them apart. I am the only person I know with a custom mcokingbird. I know one person with a souped up Bronze(ugh) warlock. He put a dimebucker in it, and probably some other shit.

I have never seen a kid with a beast, iron bird, mockingbird(other than myself,)virgin, bich, stealth, wave, you name it. I hafve only seen bronze warlocks. I want to see some nice bc riches. So where can I buy them?

I like the high end BC Rich Guitars (and I don't mean 400.00 USD) but I think the new lowends are just OK. I've got an old late 80's STIII with the unfinished neck. Made In California. It's got it's own sound. Fastest neck I've ever played. Don't think I'll ever get rid of it. Gun metal gray with black hardwear, beautiful and stone stock. Fantastic player. If I ever get another, it'll be the Supreme Bich. I just can't decide on 6 or 10 strings. Love the electronics on 'em.

I've never had my ass kicked, and I've gotten into alot of fights.

I tryed getting with some bradon guys girlfirend(I had no idea she was with this dude.) So here is the story0 in short. This she-wolf calls me and asks me to come over. I do just that, and eventually we become somewhat close and start fooling around. About two days later she gets back together with her boyfriend.
So I maintained my friendship with she-wolf, and this new girl she set me up with, who moved back to her home state a week later. Oh well, now she-wolf starts sending me the wrong messages again. called her a few dozen times, and started to get pissed cause she has a $40 piece of silver of mine, yet would not call back.

Now her boyfriend calls me up, picks a fight with me, and gets a bunch of people to kick my ass. I told them to come over, and they never did.

Like 7 guys, none of them show. No one fucks with the Satanists.

Seriously though, I would have fucked up every single one of those guys. I prefer being outnumbered, more people to fuck up. And I wear spikes all day long if need be. In this situation, I would have went all fucking out. I do know martial arts to, but I wouldn't raelly have a need for all that bullshit. Fuck all the martial arts I learned. I am more badass than phillipeno stick fighting, praying mantis kung fu, and jeet kun do.

It was $700 brand new. My viper is pretty trick, and it was $400 brand new. I just don't like expensive guitars very much. What is the point? If you are a badass, can't you shred anything? And who gives a fuck about perfect tone if it costs $80,000 including amp, effects, guitar, and everything else that goes along with your recording setup?

That is why I am thinking of just getting one really nice parker, and then getting a fewer lower end eps/riches in the 7-8 hundred dollar range. If I play more shows and get 3 albums out soon I'll get a custom rich.

10 strings are not my thing. I like 12 strings, but have no need for a constant octave on everything I play. I prefer a 12 string over a 10 string any day, even for solos. When I solo, I use the whole fretboard, not just a small section of it, like around the 12th fret maintaining the key of E(ahem MAIDEN)

Old Bc's are Really nice, But i dont like the direction that their moving in, Its harder and harder to hear about american luthiers and easier to hear about Millions of Gaunt Asians slaving over Cheap wares to make generic guitars. But everyone else as of late does it, So meh.

Ok, so I seen another bc rich mockingbrid at this pawnshop, it was pretty gnarly, nj series and asian though so fuck it. I want an american hesperia factory bright green heavily beveled 6 string bich.

I have a 1985 NJ B.C. Rich Warlock w/Floyd Rose. LOL The guy in the music store was like "Yeah since NEW B.C. Richs are cheap I will lower the price down." LOL The fool thought it was a newer model. LOL

Anyway B.C. Riches kick ass. I probably will get another one later on. If they are old...get them. If they are new but a higher quality like the Platinum Pro series...get them.

I don't see why everyone complains about them. They are nice guitars.

My friend's dad used to hate B.C. Riches. You know, one of those OLD SCHOOL rockers who refuse to play anthing but Fender or Gibson. Well he played a Telecaster and wanted more BALLS in his sound. He was making fun of my Warlock when he grabed it and said "I'll show you how shitty this sounds." He pluged it in and was amazed! Now he just bought a Classic Bich model with wood finish.

So yeah B.C. Rich's are good.

anyway to the point... BC Rich is a good company... i just havnt found anything good from them (just body art and bronses)... if i found a good warlock, Mochingbird, or Beast, id buy it...
