Nile album leaked
I'm listening to the new nile album in it's entirety now. I must say it's just not as fresh as there other album, so for them I'd have to say it's sub par. But as far as metal goes in general this is still the best new music to come out in a looooooooong time. Some of the songs are VERY kick ass though, The Burning Pits of the Dua is a great example. The egyptian sound isn't lost but it seems to be more of an intermission type thing. You'll here egyptian style things before/after a song but rarely durring. It's not the prime copy though as it's not yet been fully produced/edited, some drum parts aren't entirely insync, but it's good enough. If anyone else has the leaked copy, post a review.

Yeah, ive had it for a while on my ipod. I only listened to it once. Im still going to buy it when it comes out.

Yeah, thats what i was thinking. I would be pissed if i was in nile and saw the reviews on metal archives when it didnt even come out yet.

I've had it for maybe a month and just got around to listneing to it a few days ago and I love on the same level as thier other releases, if not better.

ive had it for like 2 months. i dont think each album leak merits a new thread, either. happens alllll the time. and i have it, listened twice, and will not be buying it. sounds too much like regular death metal. i think karl got all his egyptian ideas out with saurian meditation

i got it the past month and i'm goign to buy it.
regardless, and like Transient said, it's not as good as the past albums, but still much better than most DM nowadays.

I got it ages ago. I listened to it on the way to Uni on the bus. I couldn't tell the difference between any of the songs, i.e. it was one big blur.
