One string ?

Hi to all. For my first question I would like to ask you: do I harm my guitar,
if my highest E string is .11 gauge, when the other strings are .09 set strings?
I have a floating bridge (licensed floyd rose). Thanks for your answers!

Doubtful that you'd harm your guitar, just your fingers when you go to bend or play on that string, because it'll be so tight it'll just cut your fingers up. The guitar shouldn't have a problem with it though

Eh...you sometimes need certain adjustments when switching gauges (like the truss rod and shit), right? So I'd recommend taking it to someone who knows about that kind of thing (most likely your music dealer) and make sure no adjustments need to be made. It's certainly doubtful, but it's "better safe than sorry" with your instruments.

Presumably you made no bridge adjustments whatsoever to compensate for the extra tension?

That is a pretty big jump of guages. Infact, I think the B string in a set of 9s is an 11, so you will for sure have innotation problems, and sinc eyou ahve a floating bridge, it wont be good times. Just a buy a new pack of strings for christ's sake.
