Bass Strings?

Hey guys, what brand/type (flatwound, roundwound) of strings gets you some good low-end bass tones for metal? Thanks.

I always get the Dean Markely Blue Steel set (ML). I've never looked into exactly what type of string it is, I just know it kicks ass.
