How many mics and different kind of mics do you use to record your guitar cabinet. What mics do you use to record your guitar cabinet and what are some really good ones. Thanks a lot.

All I have is a crappy computer mic, but definately intend to upgrade.
To many, the shure sm57 is probably the best bang-for-buck microphone out there for guitar cab miking. If you do purchase one, all you will really need is just the one for now.

my bro told me that it was a good recording mic, but anyone knows for sure??
I don't either I kinda hang my mic front of the amp by pulling the wire between the Head and the cabinet and make a little knot in the wire so It doesn't drop any further
