Low drum sound

I don't have a drummer at this moment so I use a drum machine. I have a problem that when I put the drums into my recording with the drum machine the drums are way too low that I have to mix four different drum combination (with the same BPM of course) and I can't copy mix paste the same drum combination four times because it'll clip as I explained in my other thread. I hate the idea of mixing four different drum combinations to make it hearable. I just want to put one and I want it loud. So what I think will solve the problem is if I run the drum machine through my amp or some kind of speaker and record it with a mic since speaker volume can be very loud instead of running the drum machine directly into my recorder. As I heard there are mics for vocals, for recording guitar cabinets and drums cuz they all have different frequency ranges. I heard that drum sounds have extremely high frequency ranges that there are specified mics to record real drums. What I am pondering is, I don't have real drums but a drum machine and if I run it through my guitar cabinet does it become in the frequency ranges of a guitar to an amp cabinet? If so that means I have to use the mic I use to record my guitar cabinet. Does anyone know of a good mic that can be used to record drums and a guitar cabinet? Thanks a lot.

Why don't you just mix everything else to the level of the drums? As in, don't push the faders up so high that you're drowning out the drums

Do that, or find a copy of Reason on the net somewhere and sequence your drums on that, then record them from your computer onto the workstation thing you're using by running a lead from your computer's line out into the workstation
