Triple XXX 112
I am considering a triple xxx 112 but I can't find any around here to try out. I see some of you guys have it. What do you think of it? I'm looking for something that's good for trash and can also be pretty brutal like a 5150. I'd rather not get a 5150, or a 6505 I should say, because I want a real clean channel and separate eq. Does it distort well at low volumes and does anyone know where I might find sound clips of the 112? Thanks alot.

the peavey website has a video demo, i think it also has some sound clips aswell

the 6505+ has seperate eq's
do they make a 2x12 version of the xxx? Id go with that if i were to go with that if i wanted the xxx without getting the head

I'm pretty sure all the clips are of the head. They're all the same and the channel switch is on the right, just like that head. The switch is on the left on the combos. But they should all sound close enough so it doesn't matter. Thanks.

well it doesnt really matter as the combo and the head are very similar...well im sure they are...neways the only way your really going to find out how it sounds is by going and trying it out your self, that way you can "feel" the amp and play songs you like and the type of music you play in order to see how versatile the amp is and if its suitable for you.
that applies to anyone who plans to buy an amp! |

I realize I need to go try them for myself but I can't find any. I noticed some people like younguitarist have a 112 and I was just wondering what they thought of it while I'm trying to find one.

Well I can get a similar tone from that website. I really like this amp. It has enough gain and it has decent cleans. The little guy is pretty damn loud too..

never heard of a 112, but I've seen 212. I have played through the head, and its super badass.
