So I got my new half stack which is a Marshall Mode 4, and i really like how everything sounds. but once i was looking around in the back i noticed that there was a united kingdom flag and it said made in england. I always thought marshall was an american company. but my question is, are all marshalls made in england and have that flag on there or is there going to be problems. if it is infact an amp made for european use only could i just get some kind of converter? sending it back would be a pain.

so far ive been using it and everything is fine but i didnt turn it up real loud yet. thanks

If your amp is working now, then the chances are its fine, and the amp will be set up for your country upon export. It should say on the back something like '110v/50Hz' for the US and '220/240v/50Hz' for europe Nothing to worry about i'd say... with regards to where the amp was made, i am not sure... if it was made in England, then it'll be great

i belive they have/had an american factory, but i heard those one tended to...malfunction. the made in england ones are better from what i hear, and yes they have always been an english company since they started back in the 60's if you bought it new in the states, then its set up for american use, there will be no problem at all man
