Used Piece Of SHIT For Sale
Just found this not 10 minutes ago.
Picked up my Epiphone LP....went to jam a little....noticed it was massively outta tune.....very odd for this axe.....so I start tuning....and it wont stick.
Puzzled....I try one more time and notice this!!!!

BLS said it before and he's right....the lower end Epi's are garbage.
I have not banged...dropped or done anything unusual to cause this.
WTF!!!
And I'm not serious.....I'm not going to sell it.....prob go smash it against something instead. |

My guitar won't stay in tune, either. It's so depressing it starts to discourage you from even playing.

I was considering....my friend Jens brother has a 12 guage shotgun (I've shot it several times) and I could have them make a video clip of me blowing it away....then post it.
That gun is brutal...we all once shot an old television with it.....that TV was in 1000 pieces after about 5 hits....heh heh |

They must have used bad glue or not enough. It can be fixed. My Epi Goth has never had any problems. It plays very nicely. Some Epi's are good and some are bad. I'm sorry to see that this has happened to you Bia.

If it can be fixed, it must be done really well, if you just throw in glue and repaint it, it'll probably still tune crappy and sound crappy. (loss of sustain etc.)

If I had dropped or banged it into something....I'd be cool about it......but it hasnt moved since I last played it and it stays on a proper stand behind my sofa...so it's secure from my drunk...falling down friends when they visit.
I'm just glad it's not my only one.

Its usually never happens, because the glue joint is strong that the wood itself.. my guess is they didnt give the glue the proper time to cure before they painted it.
Thats what happens when companies have NO quality control.
It can be fixed.. but tis nto worth it. A used neck off ebay for that guitar will be like $50.

i have a shittier guitar. it was my first one. its a Epiphone LP Junior. i feel embarressed. it only has one HB, volume nob,tone nob, and no 3-way. im gonna buy an ibanez/or jackson soon. and sell that guitar to any sucker with $100 and get rid of that curse |

Dude, it's spelled 'knob'. If it only has one humbucker, then of course it won't have a 3 way switch.
Bia, If you're going to blow that guitar up, then take out the pickups, and the bridge and send them to me.

Epiphones by nature are shit,well the crap less than 350$ ones, if you want a real nice guitar you should look into a new ibanez or something, I know you have one since ive seen it in the other thread, but that one looks pretty old, id get me a rg or something :P
for me its either a ibanez RG370dx and up or les pauls

Decent guitar that isn't to expensive is an Ibanez GRX20. I've had one for a little over a year now and it stays in tune for quite some time. Solid and nice. Might want to check it out was like 200 when i bought it.
