By far the best new Metal Drummer out their
I play drums in a heavy metal band and I just heard Devildriver's new songs on roadrunnerrecords.com and they are good, but the drums are unbelievable.
Honestly, I have no idea who thier drummer is or where he came from, but man he is really the best new drummer out there.
Seriously, check this out it is on road runner record's home page.
Listen and tell me that this guy is not unreal.
Anyone know what his deal is?

He's real good but I wouldn't say the best
His name is John Boecklin. I mean you are right that he is good, but come on man...there are better drummers than that. He still needs to prove himself and you are declaring him the best a little pre-maturely. I downloaded those new devil driver songs and they are good. The drums are really well done. I don't know brotha' I let you know if I think he is the best drummer ever after a couple more albums.  |

I heard one DevilDriver song and meeeeeeehhh.... I don't know, it's pretty old, it's Swinging The Dead, it's very average in all departments. I'm not going to bother downloading the songs now but I will sometime and see.

i saw em play live and really disliked it. the drummer didnt grab me either...

The guy is good, clean and fast on those recordings, but I wonder if "I like it Loud" has ever heard Flo (Cryptopsy) or James King (Origin) before....
They rule.
