Do what I do most of the time. Go to Amazon.com (I don't think you even have to be registered with them) and look up whatever album or artist you want. They don't have everything in the world, but they've got a lot. If it's an artist you haven't heard much or any of, then type in their name and view all of the albums they have. Most albums will have a 30-second sound clip for each song (although some fail to have this feature, which truly sucks). This way, you can get an idea of what the album is like. Don't like it? Go to a different one. Don't like that? Try another. And if you continue disliking what you hear, congratualtions! You've been wasting your time on a shitty excuse for a band.

I only have the first Danzig album which is good, since Twist of Cain is an awesome song. I haven't heard much of Danzig though. But Danzig is no Misfits, of course I wouldn't tell him that without the lead singer of the Northside Kings to back me up.

Well, I went to look for some Danzig. At BEST BUY. Why? I needed some new headphones too. Problem? They had about 15 copies of Danzig II, and 2 copies of Circle of Snakes. And, ONE pair of headphones in the whole store. Cost? $30. I HATE BEST BUY. Normally I go to this place called Record and Tape Traders.

At first listen to Danzig I thought he sounded like a morbid Jim Morison (sp) from the Doors. I have always liked Danzig from the first time I heard him over 13 years ago. I seen his show last month and it kicked ass. Many other Death Metal bands opened for him and where all great as well, but Danzig just owned that night.

Black Aria II is coming out soon. For those that don't know about Black Aria, it is a classical album composed and writen by Glen Danzig. It is one of my favorite albums and I can't wait to get the new one.

If you have never seen Danzig live it is suprisingly good too. Go see him if you can cause I believe this is his last tour ever. He has been at it for over 25 years now. He sounds far more incredible live; kinda like how Slayer and Pantara sound live.

Danzig I is a really good album too. I'm listening to it right now If you listen to the Misfits, then Samhain, and then Danzig you can here how he just gets darker and darker the more albums he makes. There was a period in the late 90's where he expanded into making kinda dark, deathmetalish, techno music on the album Danzig 4 and Blackacidevil, but only a few song were made that way. Not bad songs but I think he just wanted to make a few songs that were way different than his normal. The rest of the songs on the albums rocks. My favorite might just be Danzig 4. Sweet memories

One time I had my hair grown all the way to my shoulders, and I looked exactly like him. The resemblance was so unsettling I just cut it all off.

During high school ( when I had long hair ) I thought about coming to school one day with leather pants, boots, black fingernail paint, and no shirt ( yes, I resembled him that closely ), and then when the teachers try to send me home for not having a shirt, I could just say in a gruff voice, "But I'm fuckin Danzig!" Then I'd go home, come to school the next day and pretend that nothing happened.

Don't forget the giant demon skull belt buckle and medalion. It just isn't Danzig without those accesories. I don't think he wears nail polish though but it would make a nice added touch.
