harmony effects pedal question
I have a BOSS ME-50 Multiple Effects set and it has a Harmony setting
The dials are named
Rate/Key
Depth/Harmony
E.Level/Resonance
I am trying to get a setting that is harmony in diatonic thirds. I am looking for that Carcass Heartwork solo type harmony so I was wondering what would be the best setting for this? I tried a bunch but non seem to really sound right. Could anyone help me out?

I have no clue it's just part of the modulation set and it just says Harmonist. That's it. So I don't know.

I've never liked multifx units, and this underlines one of the reasons why. If you want diatonic harmonising, go with the Boss PS-5 Super Shifter, it has a Harmonist setting and you have to dial in the key you're playing in so that it harmonises diatonically
Having said that, play around with what you've got first. Fiddle with the Key and Harmony knobs until you get what you want and if you can't find it, sell your multifx and buy seperate pedals :P

Thinking about it... does anyone know of a pedal that'll harmonise in minor thirds?

the boss super shifter can do intelligent pitch shifting.
probably your best bet unless you have alot of money to invest in an eventide or t.c.
