Countr-ay Rawk!
Haha, this is something I came up with rather quickly, sort of country-rock style, well when I wrote it, Lynyrd Skynyrd's "I all I can do is write about it" was playing in my head:
She’ll take a bite outta’ you,
Chew you up and spit you out,
And oh, somethin’s wrong,
I found a way in, abused it fast and far
But oh, things will always stay the same,
She doesn’t even know, who I really am
But oh, so quick to judge
Doesn’t even care doesn’t wanna realise,
I’m laid out on the floor,
And I should stop dwelling,
Forget things beyond my control.
But I can see, nothin’s ever gonna’ change,
And I ain’t grieving, but I know there’s somethin’ wrong,
Realisation’s got my feet planted in the ground,
Give up my high hopes, and start living in the now.
I ain’t tryin’ to spill my guts,
I ain’t tryin’ to moan,
A wise man once said to me,
“Put your feelings into verse and song,
Stop complicating things,
Stop playing up your heart,
And a sunny day will come”.
But I can see, nothin’s ever gonna’ change
Swallowing my pride, just to keep alive and strong,
Realisation’s got my feet planted in the ground,
Give up my high hopes, and start living in the now
Those first two lines sound very familiar, but I don't know from where, so I included them in case I'm wrong.
Thoughts anyone?

Cheers, it's not meant to be complicated whatever, just simple.
Anyone else? Thoughts/comments?

Holy crap. Now I have to post my recently written. It's got a lot of the same ideas in it only completely different style and not a song.
Spur of the moments sometime produce the best ones. Mine was inspired by a song, too, though not LS.
I liked this. Good flow throughout and I think it would be a kick butt kinda song. And it doesn't have to be done country.eww...
