new guitar suggestions
thinking about getting a new guitar. i have had a platinum beast for a few months and its just getting old quick. i want an ibanez or a jackson with a price range anywhere from $400-1,000.

I love my USA Jackson. $1000 would be cutting a good deal for a nice new one, but it can be done. I have yet to see a $400 electric guitar that rules, so I would stick to the high end if I were you.

$400-$1000, that's a huge price range. Then obviously go for something in the $900-$1000 range cuz you'll be happier.

The ESPs around the top of that pricerange are really nice. My SC-600 plays like a dream and sounds nice with the SH-4 at the bridge. Really, really light for a mahogany guitar too, I was surprised when I first picked it up; it weighs a lot less than my RG7420
I'm not usually a fan of finished necks, but I find it really easy to play. It's reinforced at the nut too (it gets thicker then tapers off just past the nut joint), which I thought was a brilliant design feature. I'd like to see something like that on necks with locking nuts, since drilling holes for screws obviously makes that point of the neck even weaker than it usually is

Well I can recommend Ibanez Prestige Series. I have the 2620 and its like butter.

ahaha ok forget the 400. say anywhere between 800-1200? and where can i find these guitars. the only places i know of are guitar center and sam ash and they tend to be expensive there.
edit: i wanna play death/grind in case that makes a difference. pls help k
edit 2: i was looking at the ESP M-II w/EMGs and Jackson Pro Series SL3 Soloist. does anyone have either? if yes how are they?
