normally i'd say $1,350 for a used triple recto is a bit much, but this is the older 2 channel model... arguably the better version...
if you've got the dough and you want a 2 channel triple recto, go for it.

yah, I've been thinking about that. I got a crazy question:
I have a Marshall AVT 50 and I can unplug the loudspeaker from the back of the amp (its a combo of course) would it be safe to plug that into my mesa? I feel silly just for asking the question though.

Congratulations as well.........I actually just won a new amp off ebay too, but it's far from a Mesa........it was an Ampeg SS-140c for $250.00. Comes with the footswitch and original box too. I had been looking for a VH-140c (used by Suffocation, Dying Fetus etc.) and in my research discovered the SS series is the predecessor to the VH series, and they are almost identical. The VH just has a slightly different preamp with the variable harmonics circuitry to simulate tubes more. I figured instead of pay more $$ to have the VH, this was a cheaper alternative, since barely anyone looks for these.

Mesa tubes are matched for the Mesa heads so you don't ever have to Bias them. I don't know why those other 6L6 tubes were in there but don't worry about replacing them with the new ones you got. The new ones are matched Mesa tubes right?

They sold you 6 tubes but 1 is different? I'm sure it will work just fine if it was check to match the other tubes, but I would be pissed. How can the seller say that they are matched when they are not even the same make of tubes? As for where to put them in relation with each other I would check the Mesa web sight and read the online manual to make sure about placement |

I got a problem here...I'm trying to play the mesa through my marshall AVT 50....I know it sounds crazy....xdislexicx told me how to do it though.
Just unplug the lead from the speaker and plug it into the mesa...and it should be good to go...but all it is doing is making static!!! The speaker is a 4 ohm and am plugged into the 4 ohm setting...so what the fuck? Someone help me out here.
