How to develope a singing voice?

Hey, im a bass player but i would still like to have a aweseme voice to have just in case and stuff, anyone have tips on how to develope a sweet voice? like any genre like from anywhere from pop to death metal? like is there any books or videos or websites or anything like anyone know any warm ups to do or anything????

For starters, theres a shitload of threads right here in the vocal forum that have to do with alot of vocal stuff...hence the title. Hope you don't get flamed for this thread. And if you do, welcome.

Man, I get real sweaty after I wack my dong. Yeah, cause I headbang while I do, and I can't really "Jump" (haha ) like VanHalen in a dorm room, so I just walk back and forth....haha a couple days ago I was jumping up and down on my bed, with my pants down and my roommate came in when I wasn't looking, hahaha.
