My new acoustic!
Yes! My acoustic arrived today, it's a Fender Newporter 1965, came with a free case as well. Solid mahogany all round, maple neck, rosewood fretboard. Man the tone that comes out of this thing is so warm, and the bass is so well pronounced.
The neck on this thing is amazing, it's exactly the same thickness as the C shape Strat necks. And there's no heel whatsoever (it's bolt-on).
I'm in love.

Perhaps, when It arrived the neck was quite rough, but some Pledge wood polish sorted it out, now it's got a fresh citrus scent!
It would just need some cleaning up and a coat of laquer I guess, so it won't be too hard.
Oh and it's my first American made guitar. Haha

Yeah dude I've been playing this thing non-stop, due to the body being full solid mahogany, this is one of the warmest acoustics i've ever played! And I love the neck, it's so fast.
Yeah you should save you money for Graspop, and "fun things" in Amsterdam.

Brilliant. It has a beautifully warm and rich tone. The bass is very well pronounced, and the highs not so much - of course it is an all mahogany guitar. In some instances, it sounds a bit like a 12 string.
