EMGs

Does sombody have EMG60 at the bridge? I have 81. I just need to know what is the diference between those two, and where do you put it for better distortion - at the bridge or its a neck pickup? The ESP is selling models with 60 at the neck (JH models) and 81 at the bridge. But at EMG site they'r talking about James(metallica), who uses 60s as main distortion pickup for heavy fat rhythm playing. And as far as i know, bridge pickup is better for distorted rhythm.
So whats your experience? What is diferent in the way they sound?

The point is, Def already locked this thread once. What you're doing is very, very bad forum etiquette, and you should post this question in "Gear And Recording"'s EMG sticky thread. That you acknowledge your mistake is a good thing, however.

To answer your question, I doubt very seriously that James Hetfield uses the EMG 60 ( which he has in neck position ) as his main rythm pickup.
