Well before 4 years I bought an Epiphone Les Paul Classic Plus(Mahogany Body and rosewood fretboard) and a Marshall AVT50 after 6 months :P i figured my gain was not enough so i bought a Boss SD-1 it really boosted my distortion to new levels and i was happy:P but after a while i found the pickups to be too weak and not so good on distortion so i made a bit research and i finally ended buying the famous set of emg 81/85(it gave me hard time making it work cause i hate :P electronics but in the end i managed t make it work ).The sound was indeed way much better in distortion and descent on the clean but i didn't mind.The sound although after a while was quite "cold" so i thought maybe it was the boss pedal so i ended buying the mxr zakk wylde pedal which was a improvent in both warmness and feeling in the sound but again i am feeling something is missing.I am seeking to make a sound like opeth so i ended looking on their sites for the rig the use.I saw they use seymour duncan sh-10 full shred
(trembucker version) so i thought this maybe the answer :P to my "eternal" hunt of my sound.So after this brief :P historic part i want to ask some questions:

1)Would i be able to play all the genres of metal without problem?(Like opeth, at the gates,carcass etc.....).
2)What do you propose for neck pickup cause i want to have good clean also?
3)After the change of the pickups i am thinking to either sell all my old overdrive pedals and get a modified robert keeley tube screamer(which is considered the ultimate overdrive pedal) or invest on a distortion pedal which it would run through the clean chanel of amp( i have set my eyes on the double distortion of mxr but again i am not sure)Ppl please tell me your suggestion for improvement my tone (the option of buying new guitar or amp is a far dream yet:P)

or you could sell the marshal and the pedals and get something better.
as for the pickups. I have emg 89 as neck pickup and it has nice cleans. Bt that's my opinion

Since you seem to be dead-set on the full shred in the bridge (i got one there too), you can try a Jazz in the neck. Awesome for clean and articulate tone. The SH-10 can handle metal for sure though.

As for the pedals, keep your favorite and sell the others. The cash you make from these will get you started on the long road towards a better amp.

Really i would like to learn more about the full shred >i heard it doesn't have enough bass this is kind of problem but i would take it has the adequate for metal .As for the neck i am between jazz of seymour or the burstbaker pro from gibson what do you say?

Burstbuckers are kinda weak to my ears. Also, they are geared for a vintage sound better suited for classic rock and blues. If you put that in there with the full shred, your pickups will be horribly imbalanced.

But the Full Shred can indeed do metal very well. I don't think that you'll be needing the OD pedals with it, but try them out just in case. Also, it has enough bass, if not you can always adjust your EQ. Thats what it's there for.

basically i read in the reviews in harmony central that the burstbucker pro has 8.83k or something similar output while the jazz has 7.72k when i looked for it on the site of seymour duncan?Are they measured differently ?

What you've quoted is the output impedance of the pickups, thats not the output that the pickup will 'provide'; although a lower output impedance would produce a greater voltage at the output.... assuming both pickups had the same magnets, windings etc.... which they're don't considering they're different models

ok now :P i am gonna sound :P crazy but i don't like visually the pair of full shred and jazz *joking joking* so obviously jazz will be my first choise as it is one f the classic combination in many guitars.Can anyone else advise any other pickup for the neck position that has already tried on his/her guitar and it matches *not visually* with the full shred .

You could always give a DiMarzio Air Norton or a Paf pro a try. Both of these are time tested and are awesome. Also, Dimarzio's usually don't cost as much as duncans.
