How is it? Especially, how is it in comparison to Unholy Cult?

Worst Immolation album for a few years, but that said - it is still brilliant.

agreed. Cult is better, but this new one isn't bad, its just not on the same level. all the Immolation elements everyone loves are still intact, and there are a few little surprises i guess making it cool. good production as well.

Harnessing Ruin is a fuckin great album, you don't have to compare it to another album, just listen and you'll see that its great Immo.

harnessing blows.ive listened to it twice. its just , lacking the power and aggression they had before. i dont care that the riffs are more melodic or its a more progressive album per se. but i didnt like close to a wolrd that much anyways. i do, howver, think unholy cult is one of the best metal albums of all time. they wont top that, i dont think

its not worth buying untill you have about every other immolation cd
