My guitar of favourite complete custom to myself, my signiature guitar -

Essex body - Black without a scratch plate.
Humbucker at the bridge. I dunno what brand, I havn't heard enough pickups. But Duncans I guess.
String thru body.
24 fret neck, black and made of hard durable but slippery wood. I know nothing about wood so you fill in the blank.
Head shape would be the Westone head.

Talking about Westone, I have a thread I made so go check it out if you wan't info on it. I love mine. I have the Spectrum LX version which is the rarest Westone out there. I brought it to guitar center and all the guys there were all wanting to play it and one of them right when I walked in asked if it were a Westone, I told him yes and he said he has a sweet Westone bass. I never knew shit about mine until last week. My father gave it to me about 12 or 13 years ago and he had it for years and a friend bought it back in the 80's along with an old early 80's Multivox amp for 1250 (US dollars of course). I love mine. The neck is pretty comfy (can be a little more comfy but better than a lot of other guitars I have played) and it's great. My dad told me to never sell it so that is what I am going to do is keep it forever. You can buy them cheap as shit nowadays and not many people know what they are or where to get them or anything on them at all.

If i were to do a custom, it would have to be done by esp. I would get a mahogany body (F series contour) with a black satin finish. Pickups would be an emg 81 for the bridge and and 85 for the neck, id go ebony fretboard with a graphite nut. Probaly just dot inlays with ESP an the twelth. An ESP Custom graphic on the head. The head would most likely be the same that goes along with the f series bodies. Id also get neck thru construction. (From ESP that's like a 4.5 grand guitar)

I've been told Essex is smaller than the Strat. Although I have played both, I never compared the 2.

i have a custom design guitar at home.. wel its my dads
he completely designed it himslef and had some guy build it

i dont have a pic of it but that may come in the far future
the shape it kinda cool but the neck is comparable to a 7 string neck weith 6 strings on it
