Question Beginner songs?

I've been playing for 3 months, I've touched on paranoid, iron man, back in black, master of puppets, everlong and comfortably numb, I'm looking for some good beginner songs to learn, preferably metal but other rock is fine too. I was told cradle of filth is a good place to start for learning metal, what do you guys suggest?

If you're a beginner, don't even start out with new-age stuff, even though a lot of them are easy as hell. Go for classic songs, like Iron Man, catchy and easy to remember.

You're on a good track already. Old Metallica, old Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC. Those are some of the most simple riff intensive groups out there with memorable stuff that other musicians can jam to easily.

Ramones.....so true....I played alot of them in my early days.
Also Judas Priest has some awesome tunes that come easy with practice.

Yeah, Livin' After Midnight. About as easy as it gets and fun in a silly way. Also fun to embellish these old power chord songs with your own little tricks and shit...

Something that might give you a challenge, but will be fun to learn is The Call Of Ktulu, by Metallica. The clean intro part, and even some of the early distorted stuff is cool. Great for playing with any friends, not to jam to until you get better, but if you learn to play it along with each other it's fun, and helps a lot.

Later, you should learn to finger pick the intro, and that helps your guitar playing even if you don't like fingerpicking.

Or you can play six feet under. They make easy to play death metal. Like feasting on the blood of the insane or no warning shot
