Hehe. This'll be a cool thread to see unravel. Not a bad idea (although I saw it first in Guitar One). 
Well, "Prowler In The Yard" as well as most Pig Destroyer's albums have good covers. Disturbing and gory. I'd have to say most bands of death metal and grind have cool album covers. Mortician has to get recognition. Slayer's "Reign In Blood" is not just a great album, but the cover is fucking awesome. The imagery of hell, and satan, and all of that shit is just the epitome of the dark and twisted metal scene. I've seen too many kickass death metal album covers, though. So it'd be damn hard to pick one. But "Reign In Blood" just may get my vote -- if not a random death/grind CD. |

Megadeth- Peace Sells... But Who's Buying?
I also really like Cannibal Corpse- Butchered at Birth. Those are a couple of good covers. All of Megadeth's old album covers were neat (except for the cheesy first one, Vic's first appearance), but you should check out the covers for their singles. Those are great.
