breathing right?

ok so i went through some of the old threads and didnt find what i want/need

basically when i growl i (think) i excert too much air. after a few minutes of singing or just holding a growl for about 15 seconds i get really light headed and shit goes black like im gonna pass out...
i do breath in between growls but i think im pushing out more air then i take in

suggestion tips on how to not get light headed and shit??

If you stick your chest out to breathe...you're doing it wrong. That's using cold air. Using the diaphram, or rather, the stomach. Your chest should not move.

Yeah, cause I headbang while I do, and I can't really "Jump" (haha ) like VanHalen in a dorm room, so I just walk back and forth....haha a couple days ago I was jumping up and down on my bed, with my pants down and my roommate came in when I wasn't looking, hahaha.
