since ENGLs are made in germany and have 220V power, would it be a problem plugging straight into a 110V US power socket? or do i have to get a transformer?

i would of thought engls would have a power switch so u can change,

are you buying it from the u.s.? if so, it shuold already be set up for our power.

my triamp is made in germany, but it's setup to run with u.s. power(though it is switchable.)

well, he doesnt... they're just setup like that... there are models made for u.s. voltage.
