It's basically the same thing as thrash metal but with a little bit more melody.

Yeah, Coroner is fast. Everyone should spend at least 6 months to a year appreciating that band. 
You should be a little more specific about what bands you are already into. |

Not many bands even come close to their Dual shredding style. Not speed metal, but along the dual lead guitarists, early Racer X would be one.

Watchtower, Forbidden, Rigor Mortis, Sanctuary, Annihilator, and SA Slayer are good bands to check out. Also, I'd like to back up everybody who said Coroner- that's good shit. A little Destruction wouldn't hurt.
