Favourite song

What's your favourite song?
For me, the best is Dimmu Borgir - Kings of the Carnival Creation.

As for favorite song, that's one of the hardest questions that can be asked. Almost the entire album of "Sombre Romantic" by Virgin Black is pure beauty. Meshuggah's "Nothing" is one of the best metal albums I've ever heard, with many great songs. And there are many RATM songs that are worth the nomination of best song ("Killing In The Name", "Know Your Enemy", "Bullet In The Head", "Bulls On Parade", and plenty more). So deciding on one best song is a bitch to my weak brain. Of course, I could always throw out a random Mortician song, but I'd practically get flamed. Cheers to one hard-ass thread.
But my noggin can't take the pressure.

i'm just asking... os it just me ot 60% of the threades get flamin` for bein` stupid?

Well it's, indeed, kind of a stupid question for one cant really have a favourite, and it deppends on his mood a lot. About me... Today I could count Ghost Love Score of Nightwish as favourite, and tomorrow ask why I didn't say Trigger by In Flames...

Or I coulkd throw something like After Forever - Black Tomb...

Yes, they do. Usually, only the truly dumb ones are flamed by the majority of the folks at metaltabs. But when people like TheDoctor, SlayMe_Returns, or Far_Beyond_Sane find a thread -- or even a person -- without the proper testicular protection, we all get beaten to a pulp at times. Why? Because we're their bitches. And we owe it to them. It's part of the metaltabs community.
Not many of us are true assholes, but when we are, it usually only lasts till we can't hold any more and we pass out.

That's a very broad question....but for sake of your question I'll say....

I could listen to Angel Of Death for hours on end.

But saying that...I could also let the entire Iron Maiden Killers CD run over and over for hours too.

im not sure if someone said this cause im not going to read this thread, but this is absolutely an at-the-moment question. Favorite songs change all the time. you hear newer, better stuff all the time. because i guarantee that your favorite song 5 years ago is not the same one as now. Especially if you taste in music changes. But im just saying that, and i know what your actually getting at.

my favorite song right now is In flames-everdying.
brings back shitloads of amazing memories from vacation

The songs don't play on your PC? That's some weird built in player that my host has as part of their website building tools.

I have no idea who the chicks are. My friend Steve just copped some video material off the internet and slammed it together. If you see them on the street be sure and thank them for me and give them my number...

You're not missing much at the moment. They're just rough outtakes without vocals from some jam sessions last year and I'm basically playing around with websites for the first time. I'll be changing web hosts pretty soon and I'll update my sig when I get some new material recorded.

I guess I'll add that my favorite song of all time is "Angel of Disease" by Morbid Angel.

I agree. There seems to be a coalition of people who deny the possibility of a single all-time favorite song as well as those who feel the need to answer with multiple songs or solos or bassists or whatever when asked for their "all time favorite" (singular).

My favorite song is still "Angel of Disease" by Morbid Angel. It has been for ten years, and it will continue to be so until some band surprises the living shit out of me with a song that magically elevates my mood and energy level more than "Angel of Disease" does...

EDIT: To illustrate my point more, that song is one of maybe 5 songs in the world which I will repeat over and over and over when driving because it's like a drug that I can't get enough of and I thrive on cranking it to the point where the car next to me is forced to enter my world momentarily and stare in disbelief at me because they are not capable of comprehending musical greatness when it is briefly glimpsed from their sad sheep-like existence as a mindless pawn in the matrix...
