Finally!! I'm getting an ENGL!!!!!!!
Long story short, my dad won a court case for $14,000. Since he sold my PRS (yeah i had a PRS) a long time ago, he asked me what i wanted.
Engl E530, here I come!!!!!!
(plus i made three new friends today, randomly, just by striking up conversation with three guys i saw...they're all in metal bands... )
Best.
Day.

Coincidentally, my birthday's the 19th!
and i actually didnt like the PRS. He sold it because he used to be a boozer...yeah...
But i'm getting an ENGL, and i've wanted to go rack, plus i still wanna go easy and leave him money so he can do other stuff.

i should be able to afford a engl soon...
i get paid to go to school... £30 a week and apparently according to the new budget, its going up to £75 a week next year, so that should be cool, o yea i have a job aswell, so im gonna get a brand spanking new rig...now i've just got to get better at playing guitar to justify all my spending...
ah well, i love playing guitar so thats reason enough
yea, i wanna get an ibanez rg, new p'ups for it and an engl amp head and cab and other shit for it

Trust me, the amp upgrade is what i'm set on and it would be MUCH MUCH better for my tone.

what poweramp?
what rack case(brand, how big, shockmount?)
why a BBE and EQ pedal?
i'd still take the e570 over the 530... it's the preamp section from the SE. beautiful.
or you could just skip the rack shit and go straight to a powerball or savage...

we'll see if i can persuade that...however i doubt it'll fly.
If it's a go, i might get the powerball instead....
if it isnt it'll just be the E530
the thing i'm concerned about is that the preamp will be much easier to record with. I could just go DI and not worry so much about micing. and since i cant play at really high volumes, recording at high volumes is a no go.
'plus its lighter than a powerball.

Damn the powerballs are becoming the new pink here, by the time i get one, everyone will have one, oh well
you should get one and post a review
plus you probably wont need an eq or bbe with it

yeah, probablly.
Well we'll see how things go in negotiations with my dad...i might be able to get that cheapo Behringer modeler (V-AMP Pro) i'd like for a toy with my job now, now that i wont have to save up for my ENGL....or a delay pedal...both something i dont really need but have had my eye on...

haha, right before i read this i was contemplating swapping my triamp for a powerball... not that i don't like the triamp... but just to give the powerball a real spin with my rig... i'm thinking about going with an mkII triamp later on anyways.
we'll see...

just buy a line 6 pod or digitech gsp 2120 for a recording preamp / fx unit. to toy with.
