Thumbs up

a couple of good scales for improving speed and strength are the chromatic scale (backwards and forwards up and down the neck) and lydian sharp 2 mode (once again up and down the neck backwards and forwards) otherwise just learn how to play disposal of the body like alex webster plays it.

Basically all of the scales improve speed and strength in your fingers

Go to http://www.activebass.com they have a very big scale chart with audio.

http://www.activebass.com/basics/sc...q=3&v=8&n=0&d=0 And choose from the list of scale types, and what Key there in.
