What's more important thing to have a good tone?
1-) Pickups;
2-) Amps;
3-) Good Strings;
4-) Pedals;
I wanna know your opinion guys, if you do have any other choice, opinion, please, share it.

amp and pickups go hand in hand, but i guess i would say pickups for good tone, and amp for good sound, my reasoning is confusing but, what im trying to say is, if you have shitty pickups going through a nice amp it the tone will suck but the overall sound structure will be similar if were to be playing it with good pickups. But once you pop good pups into a good amp the tone will be much better but the overall amp sound structure will remain the same. So id say go with pup's cause there less $$ and they will make the amp sound a little better until you get a nicer amp. You dont wanna get a nice amp and then have no money for pups and play shitty pups through a nice amp, from my experiance it sounds terrible.
If you didnt understand my reasoning and thought it was bullshit, i dont blame you, im on crack...

he said most important, imo (besides a guitar) would be the amp, thats where the basis for your entire sound will come from. if you have a shitty amp you cant get a good tone with it, if you have a good-great amp you can achieve that tone

well, i consider strings and pickups to be a part of the guitar..
so guitar and amp.
pedals should not be necissary in a basic rig.
and remember. your rig is only as bad as it's weakest link.

a great amp can make a lousy sounding pickup setup sound ok. guitar itself doesnt matter much IMO, wood and all taht nonsense. especailly with teh amount of processing the average signal gets anyways

Everything up to the amp can be corrected with an EQ to be pretty much however you want it in most cases. Shortcomings of the amp in frequency response can also be cancelled with your EQ. I personally feel the most important items are your cabinet and your effects. If you are using your amp for distortion, then that qualifies as an effect in my book.

well, you could have a deizel herbert half stack and evidence cables... but if you're sporting a peavey raptor as your axe... you're fucked
you could have a $3,000 prs custom 24, but if your amp is a rogue tube rider... you're fucked.
when i had an 8 space rack of stuff. nice preamp, nice units... but at first i had slapped it all together with cheap ass hosa cabling because it was like $10 for like 8 foot and a half patch cables.... once i switched to my custom made mogami 2524 cables with switchcraft right angled ends(if any body is interested, i make these). the sound difference was HUGE. much less noise, my highs were less brittle, the low end was more pronounced and the midrange wasnt harsh anymore.

everything counts... but id say guitar(as a whole, PCs, string, etc) and the amp... pedals are just add ons to give you something extra.
