does any one know if i can put active emg in my jackson dx10d that has firestorm or would i have to take out the firestorm shit out to put the emg in

You don't have to take out the firestorm. But I would advise you do anyway. With both the EMG's battery and the firestorm's battery, you'll have almost no room in that control cavity. Also, I don't see why you'd need that preamp in there with the EMGs, because the EMGs are hot enough.

It's duncan pickup with a 20 db gain boost. Sort of like you would have with an afterburner on a emg. I think...I'm not sure

i just switched from an Invader in the bridge position to an EMG 85, its waaaay better
