I heard and saw the pedal from the digitech website it looks like this will be
the best pedal there is because it has the eq with the (mids) and finally gain knob that everyone was crying about and the 7 different distortion including the metal zone sound and the metal master so it looks like finally digitech made a good quality distortion pedal the metal musicians will like but is really better than the mt-2 and the metal master i want other people's opinion on this pedal because i am thinkin of going and buy this pedal and sell my two dist pedals that i have mt-2 and mm would this be better?
and dont post stupid shit about getting a better amp i am just tired of readin the same bullshit so just post up your opinions about the pedal thanks

i am using a b52 100W 4x12 Half Stack thats all i could afford right now but it cool and i am using a jackson SLSMG Soloist

So you're running the pedal through its clean channel? I would suspect the amplifiers distortion would be superior to the pedal. And that is a nice guitar as well.

Have you ever tried using a boost pedal ( Pro Co Rat, Tube Screamer, etc. ) in front of the amplifiers original overdrive? I'm confident you could garner a better sound.

one of my friends has one of those boost pedel I think is the tube screamer but anyways, i didn't get the crunch and highs that i wanted, so i got the metal master i liked it and it was very brutal but there was no gain knob or enough mids but i liked this pedal alot. but then one of my friends was given his mt-2 away for $15 so i bought it. this pedal was better than the mm but it sounded a bit thin so thats why i am asking about this new df-7 pedal that has the gain knob and eq it needs for the distortion. i think its like a really advance metal master with mids and mid freq with a gain knob so it sound like something i want but trying to find more info by people who have this pedal. My B52 distortion isn't that bad but doesnt have the right sound i want so i go for the pedals.

sounds like a step sideways from every other "metal" pedal...

every body has their day when they learn what distortion is supposed to sound like.
