Sounds almost like a MIDI file. My bet is that the drums are done with a drum machine. But, yeah, sounds pretty difficult on the guitar and vocals are good, of course. Just something strange about the sound...

It's damn good shit, but I'm sure that there's been at least ONE other thread about this.
And Shimbolla, I thought that too, but no, its not a drum machine.

It's nothing super special, but it's pretty cool. The vocals are too stock though, it something we've all heard so many times. It it is impressively technical though, and if the drumming isn't synthetic (as it does sound to be) than cheers to thier awsome drummer.

The drumming is real but on an electronic set. Hes plays drums in lividity and Lust of decay also. Hes an amazing drummer.

I liked it, the drums are awesome. One of the many reasons Lust Of Decay is one of my favorite death metal bands.

Current bassist for Nile does guitar/vocals.
This current trend of uber-technical metal is getting very boring.

Not a big fan of this crap, trying to be overly technical just to be technical... not my cup of tea, sound alot like Suffocation on speed, they are also faceless sounding like a thousand other bands. I am not saying i could play like that, because 1) i wouldnt want to and 2) I like structure in my songs. O well if you dudes like it thats cool, but i wouldnt praise them for beating a dead horse...

Not for me it ain't! Well there are some that are boring, but my "technicality tolerance" is quite high.

Would be a shitload better if the drums weren't an electric set...Ruins some of the brutality that real drums bring to music. Also bass could be a little louder...other than that pretty cool, run after run after run...god my hands would be tired.

how that?
Its just fast...and...technical...and wheres the songwriting?
mhh okay I heard it for the second time.
And I think the drumming sucks...I wouldnt say he`s a bad drummer but that has not the smallest thing to with groove...I love technical drumming but that is too much drrrdrrrrt ;P you know what I mean.

Its not even brutal because the recording is so weak. The highs are turned up way too much, more bass comes from the vocals than anything else. Kinda boring in my opinion.

Technical death metal isn't ALL boring. There are a lot of subpar ones though I admit. This isn't exactly creme of the crop. Some other guy listed A TON on some other thread, lots of them were great. I'd recommend:
Alarum(not necessarily tech death)- Vocals are hard to get around, but very original band. Check out "Lost Pleiad" (may be a misspelling). This song isn't even heavy at all but it is VERY cool. Another must is "Remote Viewing". Great songwriting.
Gory Blister- Definetely stands out. Not solely technical, songwriting is there too. Make sure you don't get stuff off of their demos.
Neuraxis- You've probably all heard them already, sorry. Great anyways.
Quo Vadis- Once again probably heard of, but the stuff off their new album rules.
Sceptic- Pretty cool
The above are the bands that stand out. Other alright bands are:
Coprofago, Nonexist, Despised Icon, Devolved, Illogicist.
I'm probably just wasting my time

Its alright....even though I am not even into this kind of stuff really. Reminds me of Coroner in a way. Totally agree with Nihilist in the tech-death thing, it gets kinda old for me. What happened to the stuff were it actually sounded like death or dying, or the great vocalists (Martin Van Drunen) that dont sound all the same?

Alarum are 10x better live. They are more progressive anyway.
Coprofago are absolutely abysmal. Despised Icon are okay, Devolved are great, the rest are pretty much subpar.

I love old school Death metal vocalists my band is really old school like that we strive to bring back actually writing songs to Death metal music, not just strings of technical bullshit and wankery

You have technical death metal bands listed under your favorite bands list, don't lie.

thats awsome i like it, but you can definetaly tell that the drums are electric, it would be better if they were acoustic but it still is awsome.
