What it is worth?
I have a Tama Artstar ES (as most of you may or may not know) and it is a 4 piece with a 24 inch kick, 16 floor tom and a 12" tom with the gold snare (can't remember the name but its' a starclassic snare). Does anyone have any idea how much this thing may be worth or where I can find out? They made these back in the 80's and are good for older metal and things like that I hear and have much deeper toms and bass than most any drumset I have ever played or seen. Thanks for any info!
Also, what do you guy's think of a DW kit for jazz kind of music? I love DW's but just wanted more input on this. I play drums for a church (yeah you guy's might think that is dumb or funny but good practice for me so oh well) and they said they want a new drum set and wan't me to have a new kit (since mine is on the stage mic'ed up there and all), so they are buying me a custom made DW set in 2 months. I am not sure what size bass I wan't (probably 22) and how I want it set up. I am thinking of getting a pearl white kind of color or somewhere around there since I am getting a bit tired of black drums and black guitars, etc.

I've never played DW, but I heard they're a good quality drum.

nah I have done my church playing stint, always with my axis right up on front hehee, but it is good practice playing slow paced stuff and playing quietly, and also at being creatice with hands and feet on simple beats.
as for DW, they are good kits, BUTTTTTT they are WAY Overpriced, If I were you tell them to go get a higher end pearl kit, you would get better value for money IMO.
