New splash and Cymbal arm!

Well today I went to guitar center to go pick up the Paise 302 splash that they are supposed to have on that green tag sale for 13 bucks but I wen't there and they were sold out and all the other guitar centers were too so I asked them if they could mark the Wuhan cymbal down to the price and I would get it and they did. It was regularly 21 bucks but got it for 12. Pretty good cymbal for a cheap little 12" splash.
Has anyone else here tried this thing out? Tomarrow will be my first day to actually use it to play a big session. Sure is alright to be a poor bastard sometimes!

They are the plain ol' Genuine Wuhan Drumset Cymbals. I just looked in a interstate music cataloge and the 12 inch I got is regularly 53 bucks. They were on sale for 20 at guitar center and I got it for 12 so that is damn good. They are really thin though. But if you know how to hit a cymbal right then you shouldn't brake one. I am going to start saving up for a Paiste Signiture Fast Crash and then a couple rides next.

I have heard wuhans have a good sound for the price, but I have heard in the same breath that they can't take any form of abuse and it is a bit of a gamble with the quality of the metal, eg you might get one that never showed signs of cracking but buy another cymbal same size etc. and it will crack easy.

but this is only 3rd hand info, I personally have never tried or used them.

Doublebass, that is EXACTLY what I am going to get next. I love that thing man. I was looking at the 17 and 18 inch and they both sound sweet as hell.

Wuhans are ok i guess. Just don't get to attached to any Wuhan cymbal and don't use a million of them in your setup. They are known to break pretty easy. I have a 12" wuhan china and its still going strong. Im actually looking foward untill it breaks becuase I will be able to put my 8" splash back up.
