Peavey 6505
Peavey just relased the 6505. They say it's the same tone as the 5150 but just the name is different. Has anyone played one yet? Is the tone the same?

When'd they release 'em, and how much do they cost? I'm sure it's the same thing, since all the controls and all are the same. This doesn't matter with the sound, but I like the 5150 better the way it looks, with the grill plate saying "5150", rather than "Peavey".

Its a fucking 5150 with a different face plate.. a search or simple reading of ANY description of the 6505 and you would know this.

Yeah me too. The 5150 grill plate is way better looking. But it's the sound that counts. I don't know how much they cost but I sure as hell am going to get one since I wanted the 5150 for so long.
