Problem -_-
Well..to make a long story short one of my springs in the floyd rose is broke. I have a new spring here but how do I get that fucker in it ? I mean. the tention is really strong. Is that normal btw ?

i woudl imagine you woudl have to take off the strings to release the tentions then put it on and restring it

that's the thing...the strings are off...But the other springs keep the tension there...and a spring is usually a bit too short, otherwise it would have no function.

screw out the thing thats attached to the springs
this wil lower the tension

what kinda guitar is it? i pulled out my ibanez and i would be able to get somthing under the spring end( not the one connected to thebridge but the other one) and kinda pry it off

yea I had to add one spring to the back of my jackson when I changed from 9's to 10's and I didn't take the strings off while doing it, it was damn hard but managed in the end  I used one of these: somthing I don't know what's called, pliers or somthing? to help me. It still took a long time and I was getting very pissed off, but at the end I managed to do it

do what I did.
Use an allen wrench and grab it from both ends to use it like a hook from the curve part.pull that son of a bitch real hard and just let it go on the hole.
