need opinion on mapex set

I am thinking of purchasing a used 6 peice mapex double bass set. Has all standard toms except that it has 2 bass drums. zildjin zxt cymbals. 14" high hats 16 & 18 med thin crashes, 20" rock ride 18" china and a splash with 2 extra cymbal stands. He is asking $675 for the set, does this sound reasonable?

Yes, that's a great deal, you could spend that ammount of money on new hardware and cymbals alone. Just check that it's in good condition and if you like the sound, grab it!

I don't like Mapex drums but just for the hardware and cymbals alone that is a pretty damn good price man. I would say to get it!

Well that is your oppinion not mine. I agree, some are sweet but I am not into them much. I like to stick with DW, old Tama's, and Ludwig.

I pay in euro's in my country (the Netherlands) and a euro has more value than a dollar. I bought my drumkit (mapex) that was just three tom - toms, one base, one cymbal, one hihat and a snare drum. the cymbal and the hihat were from the series of paiste 101 and it only cost €650! and when a euro has more value than a dollar...........

just f***ing grab the whole sweet thing!
