Ominous Bloodline
Normally I wouldn't make a thread about an album, but I finally recieved Beheaded's brand new album 'Ominous Bloodline' yesterday. And fuckin hell, it's absolutely killer! They really have improved since Recounts Of Disembodiment, and that was a sick album. The drumming, holy shit, it's super fucking tight, faster too. The guitars are typical Beheaded brutality riffs, with some great rhythm parts, and meaty as fuck, with some crushing breakdowns (but maybe not as many as Recounts). And  Mr Melchior Borg! I was totally blown away by these vocals. Seriously, and I do realise how big a call this is, I would say this vocal performence comes very close to Frank Mullen's on Effigy Of The Forgotten. I know that will stir some of you, and admittedly Frank did that 14 years ago, but this guy's vocals are completely nuts in my opinion. This album is definately the best thing to be released so far this year.
Brutal death metal lovers, you must hear this album. Who would have thought shit this good could come from Malta???? Un-fucking-believable.

hahaha thats the ironic thing tim, normally the most awful countries in the world can produce some of the best metal music. look at lebanon, some of the worst people on earth with the whole gang yada-yada, but they have one of the best black metal bands in the world, kaoteona. as metal is illegal over there (too blasphemous against the muslims), they get raided basically after every show, which shows a level of dedication to beat intense hammer rage.
anyway, i'll download and see what i think.

I'll tell you now, the song they have for download is probably one of the worst on the album. I can't stress enough, the mp3 does not do this album justice.

i have the bad fortune to meet someone from lebanon pretty much every day. and yes, most of them do pack machineguns or at least some sort of a weapon.

Its some pretty good stuff, the vocals sound tight, and the rolls are awesome. The breakdown part was pretty cool.. This is way better than their previous shit, the older stuff was cool but the replay value wasnt that good. Ill be sure to purchase this soon whenever I have more than 30 dollars of quarters hanging under my coach.
