anyone know if its hard to play the bass (on stage, so maybe heavier than normal) while its wet? before our set i was thinking of dousing my upper body in fake blood (or red food coloring and water). at a gwar concert a couple months ago my friend said i looked nuts while covered in "gwar juice" and i thought it would be a good effect. plus its more fun to headbang with wet hair...

Now if you have a graphite, fiberglass compound made bass guitar I don't see why not. Water will not hurt that.

Keep in mind, your base is most likely not waterproof.

Well....go ahead and give it a try if you want to fuck up your bass....You'll ruin the strings, pickups, the fake blood shit might soak into the neck and warp it and fuck knows what else will happen Don't ruin instruments anyone who desecrates a perfectly good instrument of any kind should be killed .....except maybe accordions, I fucking hate the sound of accordions

Another consideration is what will that fake blood shit do to the internal electronics and volume/selector pots? I'd imagine it'd completely destroy them...however, if you're incredibly rich, then go nuts, cuz you can replace it on a daily basis. lol
