Beneath the massacre
Alright I know I've mentionned them in another thread, but this band definetely deserves a thread of it's own.
Hit up http://www.beneaththemassacre.com/
and from there you can download the track "comforting prejudice" from their upcoming ep due april 1st.
When I saw them live last week they played 4 more songs and they're just as insane as the sample.

Thanks for the exact link. I can understand it not being for everyone, in fact when I saw them live, I was one of 2 dudes next to the stage, everyone else was like 6 feet away...

It's hard to judge precisely with only one song. I like the song on Galy, good vocs, insane guitar work, interesting song structure, but it's not enough for me to qualify a band of good or bad. I'm seeing them on June 3, and if I have a good time during their set then I'll certainly buy their demo/cd.

That's right, I heard them last time you recommended them. Great shit, that's a drum machine isn't it? The sweeping bits in the "verse" have some trippy effect on them that makes it sound like an old school video game. Very technical, so I like it.

I don't know if they used a drum machine for the recording but they do have a very talented live drummer.
