Wait til you're my age and they come up to you like your long lost best buddy. It's a trip for sure. But one of my old friends from choir got in touch with me within the past couple months and it's been fun talking and reminensing with him. He was part of the bunch I hung out with so it's cooler. Oh, those wonderful days of our co-ed tenor section. Fun stuff.
Glad things have settled down. It sounds a bit weird that you were so dramatic about it and now she's cool with the situation, but eh, sometimes it goes that way.
