Best Practise Amp...?
whats the best practise amp around for metal, like which has the best tones for metal?
when i say practise amp, i mean a combo amp with about 10w to 100w at the very most.

No such thing exists. Unless you are looking at dropping some hevaey heavy cash on a combo chances are you will need to go the pedal route for decent distortion.

lol, the cube it is then
i went to my guitar shop today and the guy said that line 6 spider II's sound soooo synthetic and he wishes that every1 would get over the fact that mick thomson from slipknot made a video with it.
he then showed me the cube 30, looks small, but i dont care, as long as it sounds good.
i heard that the different modes are really good aswell.
well thats it then, im getting the cube fo'sho
thanks for your help!!
cheers, user01

well that's the point in thought right? you're looking for a small managable amp with usable tones?

i would consider that to be a great thing. if all you need is just a little jam amp, it should be as compact, lightweight, and portable as possible.
nice choice though... i hate low end line 6 stuff.

If I were to choose any small practice amp ( under 300$ mind you ), that would be it.

I would stick with the original spider from line 6...The 50 watts version. It's not that big, it doesn't cost alot and it has some massive gain for such an amp

I have Peavey Blazer(15w) which is quite good.
Of course the only other amps I've played
are a Drive 20w and
an aria pro 10w.
