Aborted are sell outs, ever since Goremageddon, they used those hardcore style vocals alot, and the solos are too melodic to be considered gore.

I have Goremageddon and it's pretty good but judging by a lot of the recent emanations I don't think I'll buy their new album.

Nothing special. Some decent riffs, nothing catches my attention. One of those albums where you CAN'T pay attention to it, because you just zone out -- it is too boring.

yeah, get on aim and ill send it to you. if you have an sn
its really hardcore sounding. it sounds like hes trying to sound similar to bill steer but just sounds like he should be doing vocals for a hardcore band. and there are way too many "heavy" riffs, that is, stop start guitar, constant drums, it gets annoying

Well in my own opinion yes... Look at all the other REAL gore bands, no melodic solos, no hardcore style vocals, and looking at all the other peoples opinion, seems to me that they have the same feeling about new Aborted.
I recommend getting their debut and engineering the dead.

According to couple of guys on my forum, the album is supposedly and suprisingly quite disappointing. They were complaining of 'mallcore' vocals too, damn. I'm not buying it unless I hear it for myself.

I thought Bill Steer was a guitar player only. I wasnt aware that he did vocals. Of course the only thing I have heard of him is his work with Carcass.
As for the album I love it. I love it because it stands out from the rest of the gore metal that all sounds the same IMO.

Engineering The Dead
Goremageddon
Archaic Abbatoir
Those are the main releases...theres been splits and EPs, of course.
I liked Goremageddon most (tho some people dont) and then Engineering the Dead, and Purity.. Archaic Abbatoir wasok but its all a little...zone out-y. The only real song I listen out for on that is The Inertia.
